(Rapid City, SD) — Two people will serve life in prison without parole for a double murder in 2022. Dillon Wilson and Erin Provancial were both convicted last month on aiding and abetting first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit first-degree murder for the deaths of Joseph Standing Bear and Petan Milk. Wilson was given three mandatory sentences of life without parole on Monday while Provancial was given three life sentences without parole right after. Judge Heidi Linngren told Provancial she had an opportunity to stop the violence in her community but chose to become a willing perpetrator of it instead.
