(Mandan, ND) — Police say the man who caused a weekend standoff at Sanford Hospital is facing arson charges. They released more information about the incident that started on Saturday when Cory Conmy set a house on fire with a 71-year-old man inside. A neighbor had put the fire out with an extinguisher by the time officers arrived and identified Conmy as the man who started it. Comny had to have his tires spiked and was tased and dragged out of his vehicle when he was finally pulled over near Sanford Hospital. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for April while his trial is expected to start on June 30th.
