(Minot, ND) — The Minot Planning Commission is revoking a permit for an addiction recovery house. Seeds of Eden was recently shut down by the city inspections division for housing a registered sex offender, failure to rectify an unsafe building and multiple parking violations. A hearing was held on Tuesday where lawmakers decided to revoke the permit for the violations that investigators began to find during inspections in August 2025. No representative for Seeds of Eden attended the hearing. The group home provider obtained its permit in late 2023 for the property at 425 Main Street South.
