(Garretson, SD) — Longtime owners of the Garretson Food Center are looking to sell the business and retire. Ron and Lorie Luke have been operating the grocery store for 30 years but they’ve decided they want to step away. Ron says he has been in the business for 46 years. They are hoping they can sell it to someone who wants to continue operating it as a grocery store. Ron tells Keloland, “I think a small town needs a school, a grocery store and a local paper and right now we have all three of them, so we want to keep it that way.”
