(Fargo, ND) — The trial against Black Lives Matter Activist Faith Monique Shields-Dixon is being delayed again. She is being accused of giving about 124-thousand dollars in state grants to businesses owned by her family members. The four-day trial was set to begin on April 21st but Shields-Dixon’s attorney has asked to withdraw from the case. The judge is pushing the trial back to June, but added that Shields-Dixon has shown, “a pattern of obstructive behavior.” Judge Bobbi Weiler said that if Shields-Dixon has waived her right to an attorney and must represent herself in court if she cannot find one by the new June 9th trial date.
