Mandan City Commission Approves $18M Infrastructure Project

(Mandan, ND) — Mandan City Commissioners are approving an 18-million dollar infrastructure project. It’s called project 2B and commissioners have already entered a contract with Moore Engineering on a final design. Commissioners say the project is 66-percent funded by grants and the rest will be covered by a state loan. The neighborhood where it’s taking place needed a 51-percent vote to stop the project, but it came up just short at 45-percent. Design work is expected to start in the spring and construction is set to run from the summer through fall of 2027.
