(Minot, ND) — The attorney for Nichole Rice is filing a demand for a change of judge. It comes after Judge Steven Lautt recused himself and the case was reassigned to Judge Gary Lee. Lee has already denied a motion by Rice’s husband, Dallas, to waive his initial hearing. Both the husband and wife are being charged but they have hired separate attorneys. They are being accused of stealing more than 100-thousand dollars from a Minot archery club over a five year time span. Both are scheduled to appear in court on April 20th.
