First Federal Grants For Rural Health Being Released

(Bismarck, ND) — About ten million dollars are available to rural North Dakota health programs. The first round of federal grants was released from the Rural Health Transformation Program. Lawmakers held a special session in January to create a budget for the 199-million dollars the state is expected to receive through the program this year. The state will host a conference call on March 30th about where the first round of funds will go. Applications are due by April 30th.
