Minot Air Force Base Help Rewrite Nuclear Weapon Protection Procedures

(Minot, ND) — Minot Airmen participated in a project to rewrite nuclear weapons protection procedures. The effort is part of a biannual project with other bases to keep procedures current and efficient. The serivcemembers at Minot Air Force Base teamed up with others from Malmstron and F.E. Warren bases to update the instructions. The most notable changes involved armored vehicles and Payload Transports, used to move missiles. They also made changes to modernize its missile system from the Minuteman three to the Sentinel.
