(Sioux Falls, SD) — Sioux Falls Mayor Paul TenHaken celebrated his tenure during his final State of the City address. He delivered the speech on Monday at the Canopy in the Steel District. TenHaken will have reached his term limit at the end of this year and used the platform Monday to thank others for his success over the last eight years. He praised the work of city employees for their help with boots on the ground efforts and touted accomplishments ranging from economic milestones to social advancements. He said that the city has grown in population by 38-thousand since he took office and the city has received more than 79-million dollars in private donations.
