(Rapid City, SD) — A Box Elder man is facing charges after leading police on a chase through Rapid City. Police say 23-year-old Michael Reyna was driving a truck the wrong way down Saint Joseph Street before turning into the appropriate direction early on Sunday morning. Police attempted to stop the pickup but it kept going and slammed into a center median before entering Interstate 190 northbound. When Reyna finally exited the vehicle, police noticed the smell of alcohol and arrested him for DUI, eluding and leaving the scene of a crash. Reyna was pulled over in the same pickup truck going the wrong way late on Saturday night, but officers just gave him a warning.
