(Sioux Falls, SD) — South Dakota will host its first-ever WNBA game in April at the Sanford Pentagon. The Phoenix Mercury will take on the Chicago Sky on April 25th in a preseason game. Mercury Head Coach Nate Tibbetts grew up in the Sioux Falls area and played for the University of South Dakota. His father, Fred Tibbetts, was a high school coach in the state and won an unprecedented eleven high school state championships. The Mercury will also host a youth basketball clinic at the Sanford Pentagon on April 24th at the arena.
