(Sioux Falls, SD) — State Speaker John Hansen will officially be on the ballot as a candidate for Governor. Hansen submitted more than five-thousand-360 signatures to qualify for the June 2nd primary. He said in a statement on Facebook that his campaign submitted more valid signatures than any other candidate in the race. Hansen joins Dusty Johnson as the only two candidates that have officially qualified so far. Incumbent Larry Rhoden is expected to qualify as he tries for a reelection effort.
