(Sioux Falls, SD) — A man wanted for sex crimes in Sioux Falls is behind bars in New Mexico. Authorities in Minnehaha County have been looking for 43-year-old Steven Martin for charges of stalking, window peeking, indecent exposure involving a child and sexual exploitation of a minor. He was charged with similar crimes in July of 2024 but those cases were decided by dismissals and plea deals. All of the charges against Martin stem from victims ranging between five-and-13 years old. He is facing extradition to South Dakota after an arrest warrant was served when he was discovered out of state.
