(Rapid City, SD) — A woman is facing 12 years in prison for pointing a gun at grocery store employees. Talisse Fighting Bear of Rapid City pleaded guilty to an aggravated assault that occurred on April 16th, 2025 where she was accused of pointing a loaded gun at employees and told them to call police. Before entering the store, it’s believed Fighting Bear fired two shots into the air. When officers arrived, she then pointed the gun at her own head before surrendering. The judge noted her criminal history and the fact she was on parole during the incident as factors in sentencing.
