(Bismarck, ND) — Bismarck State College’s eighth president will be Dr. Brian Kalk. The State Board of Higher Education announced Kalk as their selection on Tuesday. He previously served on the North Dakota Public Service Commission from 2009 to 2017 and also spent 20 years in the U.S. Marine Corps. Kalk says he’s wants to help grow the workforce in the state and lead the college toward becoming a leader in technical education. He starts his tenure on April 13th.
