Attorney General Marty Jackley Officially On Ballot For U.S. House

(Pierre, SD) — State Attorney General Marty Jackley has officially qualified for the ballot for the U.S. House. The Republican candidate had more than 31-hundred signatures validated by the Secretary of State’s office. Jackley needed slightly more than 21-hundred valid signatures to qualify. The deadline to file a petition is 5:00 p.m. on April 8th. The primary election is set to be held on June 2nd. Jackley and Democrat Nicole “Nikki” Gronli are the only two candidates that have qualified so far in the House race.
