(New Town, ND) — NHS College President Twyla Baker is being added to an exclusive national educators group. Baker was chosen as one of 23 community college leaders to the Aspen Presidents Fellowship. She is the only one selected to hail from a tribal college. Members will participate in virtual workshops and multiple in-person meetings throughout the year on how to improve their schools. Baker has been a college president for 12 years and received two nominations from colleagues before finally applying for the program.
