Fargo Man Pleads Guilty For Online Threats Against Trump

(Fargo, ND) — A Fargo man is pleading guilty to making threats online about killing President Trump. Andrew Sandvik agreed to plead guilty last week after he was arrested at his mother’s home in south Fargo on November 6th. An investigation into Sandvik’s posts was opened in early September of last year. Detectives found posts directed at Trump, Vice President JD Vance and FBI Director Kash Patel. He was looking at a sentence of up to five years in prison but prosecutors agreed to lower their recommendation to ten-to-16 months.
