(Minot, ND) — City crews in Minot are working to fix a pair of water breaks in the northwest part of town. The first break is on 16th Street Northwest, on the curve just west of Oak Park. That one sent water gushing into the street and prompted a closure of 16th Street Northwest between 2nd Avenue Northwest and West Central Avenue. Detours were set up for the dozen or so homes in the area. Crews are also repairing a break near the 18-hundred block of 2nd Avenue Northwest, impacting roughly six homes. Drivers are advised to use caution while driving through these areas.
