(Fargo, ND) — State Representative Liz Conmy is dead after a plane crash in Minnesota on Saturday. She was described by State Senator Tim Mathern, who represents the same district as Conmy, as someone who was actively engaged in her family farm near Langdon and in touch with both rural and urban North Dakota. Governor Kelly Armstrong sent condolences to Conmy’s loved ones in a statement on Saturday. The crash happened just before noon in Brooklyn Park, a suburb just outside of the Twin Cities, after her plane took off from Crystal Airport. Conmy was on board with one other person when the crash happened.
