South Dakota Revenue Up

(Pierre, SD) — South Dakota’s economy continues to outperform much of the nation. Governor Larry Rhoden says April revenues came in more than 12-million dollars above projections, fueled — in part — by nearly 13-percent growth in sales tax collections compared to last year. State leaders point to the state’s two-point-three percent unemployment rate — currently the lowest in the country — along with strong GDP growth.
