(Mandan, ND) — A Bismarck man has been found not guilty of sexual assault from an October incident. Douglas Miller was accused of following an intoxicated woman home and assaulting her while she was pretending to sleep. Miller said he went to the home with the woman from a bar in Mandan and left when the woman’s daughter came back home. If he was found guilty, Miller would have faced a maximum sentence of 20-years in prison. A jury found him not guilty after a three-day trial.
