(Rapid City, SD) — Officials at Lakota Tech High School say there is no more threat to students after a report a student brought a firearm to campus. School officials responded to the report by contacting law enforcement. They said that no weapon was found at the campus after a search. An investigation into the incident remains ongoing. The incident happened on Wednesday and parents were told they could excuse their children from school on Thursday if they wanted.
