(Bismarck, ND) — A Bismarck man is in custody on multiple charges following a standoff with police last week. Police say it began when Darrell White Lightning ran from them while they were investigating a stolen all-terrain vehicle. He then led them on two different pursuits in a stolen SUV and on a bike, and later barricaded himself in the attic of a home. SWAT was called to the scene and White Lightning was arrested hours later. His next court appearance is scheduled for August 12th.
