(Sioux Falls, SD) — The Sioux Falls metro area is leaping over a new milestone. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, what is considered the Sioux Falls Metropolitan Statistical Area, or MSA, has surpassed a population threshold of 300-thousand. And the MSA has grown so much, it is now represented across state lines into Minnesota — specifically Rock County. But President and CEO of the Sioux Metro Growth Alliance Tyler Tordsen says the group’s focus is still on the South Dakota counties surrounding the city. Tordsen did note the quick growth is a huge recruiting point for business and families.
