(Brookings, SD) — A former University of South Dakota student is facing some jail time for sexual assault. On Tuesday, a judge sentenced 20-year-old Gavin Jensen to 20 days in jail for sexual contact without consent and simple assault. Jensen was originally charged with two counts of rape after the assault at a USD residence hall last fall. Those charges were dropped as part of plea deal.
