(Minot, ND) — A Minot man has been sentenced to 8 years in prison for a fentanyl overdose that sent a woman to the hospital. On Monday, Brandon Chandler pleaded guilty to charges of distribution of fentanyl resulting in death or injury and conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance. Investigators say he sold fentanyl to a woman who smoked it, and was later found unresponsive and discolored in a Mandan parking lot. She was rushed to a hospital in Bismarck, and Chandler was later arrested after the woman told police she bought the fentanyl from him.
