New Dinosaur Research At DSU

(Madison, SD) — A Dakota State University professor is part of an international research team that has found evidence of a new dinosaur. It’s said to be a little feathered raptor using wings for flight. Alex Dececchi [[ Deh – Check – e ]] says the team reviewed a series of micro-raptor tracks with strides indicating that the sparrow-sized dinosaur was traveling around 30 miles an hour. That’s a seemingly impossible speed for it to run. The team reasoned that it must’ve been using wings to create lift and propulsion, much like a goose running to take off.
