(Bismarck, ND) — Governor Kelly Armstrong is proposing a budget that invests one-billion dollars in infrastructure, education and property tax relief. Armstrong announced the budget during a speech to lawmakers on Wednesday. His proposed budget comes in at nearly 20-billion dollars, which is around 400-million dollars higher than the one proposed by former Governor Doug Burgum in December. Included in Armstrong’s budget is a property tax relief and reform plan that provides a primary residence tax credit of 15-hundred-50 dollars per year over two years.
