Governor Armstrong Vetoes Health Insurance Bill

(Bismarck, ND) — The state legislature will need a two-thirds majority vote for a health insurance bill vetoed by Governor Armstrong. The bill would expand benefits for all state employees without a premium increase, including co-pays going towards out-of-pocket costs. Governor Armstrong says the current health insurance plan is better. The state House and Senate could revive the proposal through a revote.
