(Bismarck, ND) — North Dakotans enrolled in SNAP benefits may apply for replacement benefits if they were affected by last weekend’s severe weather. Officials say households in 14 counties automatically qualify, including Cass, Burleigh, Sioux, and Morton. Anyone who lives outside the 14 counties may still be eligible, but must prove they lost power for at least four hours. To request replacement benefits, forms must be submitted online through the Self-Service Portal or in person to a human service zone office. Submissions are due by June 30th.
