State-Backed Loans To Help Upgrade ND’s Water Infrastructure

(Bismarck, ND) — State-backed loans will help boost upgrades to North Dakota’s critical water infrastructure. The State Revolving Fund programs awarded tens of millions of dollars to multiple cities, including Fargo, Grand Forks, and Colfax. Fargo was one of the largest recipients at 40-million-dollars in loans for projects like cleaner drinking water. State officials say the money will also help cities replace water mains, improve stormwater management, and connect private wells to the local water supply.
