FARGO, ND – Beginning Wednesday, August 6, through Friday, August 8, the United Way is hosting a School Supply Backpack Pickup event outside of the FARGODOME (1800 N. University Drive) that will have the following traffic impacts:
- The left turn lane for eastbound traffic on 19th Avenue North at 16th Street North will be closed.
- The left turn lane for westbound traffic on 19th Avenue North turning onto Albrecht Boulevard will be closed.
- East-west through traffic will be restricted at the intersection of 16th Street North and 19th Avenue North.
- Albrecht Boulevard will be closed between 19th Avenue North and 17th Avenue North.
- Vehicles exiting Albrecht Boulevard will be required to turn east onto 19th Avenue North.
The road closures will be in effect for the following dates and times:
- Wednesday, August 6 – 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
- Thursday, August 7 – 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
- Friday, August 8 – 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Fargo Police officers will be on site each day during the event to assist with traffic control and monitor all road closures. Motorists are asked to follow posted signage and directions from officers. Drivers not participating in the event are encouraged to use alternate routes.
