Dickinson City Commission Special Election Set For Next Week

(Dickinson, ND) — Dickinson residents will soon vote to fill a vacancy on the city commission. Dickinson City Administrator Dustin Dassinger says officials are hopeful for a good turnout at next week’s special election. The vacancy opened after John Odermann resigned last April to accept a position with Congresswoman Julie Fedorchak. The four candidates vying for the commissioner’s seat are Mathew Rothstein, Amber Wanner, Russell Murphy, and Dean Kluver. Voters can cast their ballots on August 18th from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Henry Biesiot Activities Center.
