(Grand Forks, ND) — The University of North Dakota will receive millions of dollars to support its STEM careers advocacy. The National Science Foundation recently awarded two-million-dollars in funding to UND for its NSF Research Traineeship program. Officials say the grant will support sustainability projects related to the protection and usage of land and water resources. UND’s traineeship program was launched to find proposals that help students in STEM-based master’s and doctoral degree programs prepare for relevant careers.
