(Bismarck, ND) — Bismarck Mayor Mike Schmitz wants to simplify and streamline the city government departments to promote efficiency. Mayor Schmitz says the city will now place signs on properties and boulevards before public hearings are held regarding development projects. He believes it will help streamline questions or concerns residents may have about said projects, primarily when public meetings are held. Schmitz also says improvement efforts can be seen in the city’s garbage pickup and snowplowing services, as well as enhanced public health food pantries. Mayor Schmitz reminds residents that a complete list of improvements is available on the city’s website.
