(Minot, ND) — Officials are partnering with a Minot-based facility to expand substance use disorder treatment services. The state’s Department of Health and Human Services recently partnered with Providence House Minot to launch the Pregnant and Parenting Women program. The initiative now provides residential environments for mothers and their children while mothers receive addiction treatment and recovery support. HHS says the new program removes a critical barrier for women seeking help without having to be separated from their children. Providence House Minot is hosting an open house on September 15th starting at 10 a.m. to celebrate the program, which is available to eligible pregnant and parenting women across the state.
