(Aberdeen, SD) — Aberdeen police have a suspect in custody accused of threatening Republican gubernatorial candidate Toby Doeden during Saturday’s football game at Northern State University. Doeden posted a video on his social media saying the person came up from behind him and said, “We got Kirk, you’re next,” before running off. Police have charged the suspect with simple assault and say more details could be released at some point today.
