(Grand Forks, ND) — Over 15-million-dollars in federal funding will help support infrastructure upgrades at Grand Forks International Airport. Officials say it will help reconstruct the airport’s primary runway and improve taxiway pavement and lighting fixtures. The Federal Aviation Administration also plans to construct a new air traffic control tower in the near future. State Senator John Hoeven announced the recent funding on Wednesday as a member of the Senate Transportation Appropriations Committee.
