Nine-Year-Old Brandon Native To Compete At The Masters In 2026

(Brandon, SD) — A nine-year-old Brandon boy will compete at the Masters Golf Tournament next spring. Miles Lunning’s putting skills were showcased last week in the regional qualifying golf tournament in Minneapolis. This led to him securing a spot in the annual ‘Drive, Chip, and Putt Contest’ at Augusta National Golf Club in Georgia, where the Masters are held each year. Lunning said his strategy for the contest is to “just have fun” as he competes against ten other participants in the ten-to-eleven age division. The Drive, Chip, and Putt National Finals will take place on April 5th, 2026.
