SDBED Approves Projects To Create 29 Jobs Statewide

(Pierre, SD) — Over two dozen new jobs are being added statewide thanks to two projects. The South Dakota Board of Economic Development recently approved two SD Works Loans for Cypress Rail Solution in Vermillion and Dakota Specialty Solutions in Canton. Cypress Rail will receive just shy of 770-thousand-dollars to purchase and renovate a facility for railcar repair, with plans to service 15 to 25 cars each week. Dakota Specialty will also receive 900-thousand-dollars to construct and equip a new facility for manufacturing and packaging agricultural products. Governor Larry Rhoden says the projects are great opportunities to grow in every corner in the state, as 29 new jobs are expected to be added.
