The event brings drone leaders and industry experts to discuss the latest in UAS technology for both commercial and military operations. Officials say a few surprises are expected to be announced during this week’s summit, while North Dakota leaders showcase why the state is a prime location for drone research and development. Another subject at the event will be how North Dakota can lead efforts to protect the nation from drone attacks. The UAS Summit begins today and lasts through Wednesday.
