(Mission, SD) — A car crash last Friday near Mission in Todd County leaves two people dead and another with life-threatening injuries. County authorities say a pickup truck headed southbound on US Highway 83 sideswiped a semitruck traveling in the northbound lanes. Both of the semitruck’s occupants died at the scene while the pickup truck driver suffered life-threatening injuries. In addition to Todd County authorities, South Dakota Highway Patrol is also investigating the crash.
