Mandan Library Opening Space for Creators

(Mandan, ND) — The Morton Mandan Public Library is opening a space for creators. A state Destination Development grant of 500-thousand dollars will be used to open the Tourism Makerspace Hub in the library. It’s being billed as a first-of-its-kind attraction for North Dakota. The Hub will be built in an unused upstairs section of the library where visitors can craft, cook and connect with North Dakota’s culture. It will include artist workshops, digital storytelling labs and a professional demonstration kitchen.
