Governor Rhoden Announces Plan To Keep Lights On At Mt. Rushmore

(Rapid City, SD) — Lights at Mount Rushmore will stay on as the government shutdown continues. Governor Larry Rhoden announced a plan to keep the lights on at the national memorial. Several state leaders have committed to personally funding the lights including Representative Terri Jorgenson, Attorney General Marty Jackley and Treasurer Josh Haeder. This means lights can stay on at least through mid-November.
