Woman Pleads Guilty To Assaulting Emergency Staff

(Bismarck, ND) — A woman arrested for assaulting first responders about a year ago pleads guilty. Authorities responded to a call at a home in Lincoln in December 2024 where they found Teila Arpan intoxicated. Police attempted to subdue Arpan who resisted and attacked the police chief and an emergency medical worker. By pleading guilty, Arpan won’t spend more time in jail and her upcoming trial for the incident has been canceled. Arpan must undergo a chemical addiction evaluation and will be on probation for two years.
