Washburn Memorializing Secret Service Agent Who Shielded Kennedys During JFK Assassination

(Washburn, ND) — Washburn, North Dakota is memorializing the secret service agent who shielded the Kennedys during the JFK assassination. Clint Hill leaped onto the back of the moving limousine seconds after the President John F. Kennedy was killed at Dealey Plaza in Dallas, Texas on November 22nd, 1963. The memorial to Hill will be erected in the summer 2026 in Washburn, North Dakota. He was born in Larimore but was raised in Washburn. Hill served under Eisenhower, Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon and Ford before retiring.
