Buck Shot And Dumped In Ditch

(Lincoln, ND) — The North Dakota Game and Fish Department is looking for information about a buck that was found in a ditch off Lincoln Road. It was first discovered near 249th Street SE by a property owner on November 30th. According to the ND Game and Fish Department, the buck had been shot and was likely killed on the evening of November 29th or in the early hours the following day. Evidence at the scene indicated that the animal was shot somewhere else and dumped at the Lincoln Road site. The state’s deer gun season closed on November 23rd. The Game and Fish Department encourages hunters, anglers, and landowners who witness a fish or wildlife violation to report it to the Report All Preachers program.
