(Sioux Falls, SD) — A Sioux Falls man is accused of assaulting a police officer during a traffic stop. Sioux Falls Police say Rudolph Gabe Jr., was arrested Monday afternoon after he pointed a knife at the officer. The 42-year-old was stopped by police after he allegedly ran a red light and hit a curb. Police say the man pulled out the knife and jabbed it toward the officer, who had asked the driver to take a DWI test. Gabe, who’s on parole for a prior offense, faces several charges.
